Sweeper Sort
I made this program as a way to help my organizational skills in regards to file management.
I struggled to find a way to effectively store and categorize my files and folders so I decided to make it abit easier to do.
How to use:
- Just drag the folder you want to sort into the left square, it will start immediately. The folder you should give is supposed to be the Root folder of a library of data, but it doesn't have to be that big.
- The right square is the skip file section, same as the normal one you just drag folders / files into this square and the sorter will NOT sort those folders or files, it will completely just ignore them and their children.
- You can also create a file with it, it will force you to use the name convention so that no matter what the sorter handles it, when a file is made it will automatically open it so that you can easily start working on it.
There isn't really a maximum number of files it can sort, but I would refrain from anything more than 100 000, since it uses a lot of RAM while sorting, so rather do smaller chunks of 10 000 instead :)
The token system I used can technically be infinitely scaled since it just adds extra subcategories but more than 3 seems excessive. Fuzzy matching and sorting also applies to the file names so if you make mistakes it takes those into account.
Its a sweeper since it works kinda like cleaning out a destroyed library and neatly organizing them into their respective shelves.
